A hospital pharmacist opportunity is available in a behavioral health setting, working on a contract basis at a facility specializing in psychiatric care. The role is based in Magnolia, MS, with a start date as soon as possible and extends through June 13th.
Responsibilities:
- Perform verification and checking of medication orders to ensure accuracy and patient safety
- Conduct necessary controls and maintain compliance with regulatory standards
- Operate as the sole pharmacist on site, overseeing pharmacy operations independently
- Collaborate with pharmacy technicians who provide support during working hours
- Valid pharmacist license with clinical pharmacy experience
- Background or interest in behavioral health or psychiatric pharmacy practice
- Experience with medDispense system and Azalea Health electronic health records is preferred
- Ability to work independently with strong attention to accuracy and detail
- Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM
- No weekend shifts required
