Clinical Pharmacist

Travel Pharmacist – Kingman, AZ

Location: Kingman, AZ 86409

Pay: $2,800 – $3,027 per week

Shift: 5×8-hour shifts. Rotating shifts between 6:00 AM and 10:00 PM. Every other weekend required

Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours/week

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Travel Pharmacist to provide inpatient/acute care pharmacy services, including medication preparation, dispensing, IV admixture, sterile compounding, inventory management, and pharmacy operations.

Requirements

• Active and unrestricted Arizona Pharmacist license
• 1+ year of previous Charge Pharmacist experience required.
• Acute care/inpatient pharmacy experience required
• PharmD/RPh
• IV Admixture Certification required
• Sterile Compounding Certification required — ACPE accredited
• BLS certification required
• Meditech experience preferred
• Strong sterile compounding and medication preparation experience

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and dispense medications and pharmaceutical supplies
• Compound IV medications, solutions, ointments, and other preparations
• Maintain sterile technique and clean-room standards
• Supervise and coordinate pharmacy operations
• Manage pharmacy inventory and formulary
• Maintain medication records and charges
• Collaborate with medical staff regarding medications, formulary, and drug usage
• Ensure compliance with applicable pharmacy laws and regulations
