Clinical Pharmacist I
Join the transformative team at City of Hope. We are seeking a Clinical Pharmacist I to serve as the medication management expert, provide accurate drug information to providers, nurses, and other staff, supervise technicians, and collaborate with the pharmacy team to deliver high‑quality patient care.
As a successful candidate, you will:
- Collaborate with providers, nurses, and other clinical staff to ensure the medication management process is safe, high quality, and cost‑effective for all patients.
- Provide oversight of a safe and timely medication use system.
- Oversee compounding in accordance with USP, Board of Pharmacy, and other regulations.
- Ensure medications are received, stored, labelled, transported, and wasted appropriately.
- Ensure controlled substance processes are adhered to.
- Collaborate with members of a multidisciplinary health care team to optimize patients' medication therapy.
- Participate in care coordination and investigational drug management for research patients, following all required regulations and practices.
- Actively support reporting of pharmacy interventions, adverse drug reactions, and medication errors.
Your qualifications should include:
- Graduate of an ACPE‑accredited pharmacy school or a school with ACPE accreditation pending.
- Current California pharmacist license.
- BLS certification through the American Heart Association.
