Day Shift
3 12-hour shifts per week; days rotate weekly and include 1 weekend per month
APPLICATION MUST BE FILLED OUT ENTIRELY TO BE CONSIDERED FOR INTERVIEW PROCESS
Scope of Responsibility
- Antibiotic stewardship and therapeutic drug monitoring
- Medication consults and drug information support
- Renal dosing adjustments and clinical interventions
- Verification and dispensing of medication orders
- Sterile IV admixture preparation
- Patient and staff education on safe medication practices
Reports directly to the Director of Pharmacy and works closely with nurses, physicians, and other clinical team members.
Education
- Graduate of an accredited School of Pharmacy
- Registered Pharmacist in the State of Texas
Training and Experience
- IV certification required
- Hospital or inpatient pharmacy experience preferred
- Minimum experience: hospital internship rotation
Health and Background Requirements
- Employment contingent upon successful completion of background check, lab work, and immunization records
