Our client, a global fortune 50 organization and one of world’s largest distributors of healthcare systems, medical supplies & pharmaceutical products, seeks an accomplished Clinical Pharmacist.
JOB OVERVIEW:
- NOW HIRING: Clinical Pharmacist
- PAY RATE: $60/hour (Contract)
- LOCATIONS: Cary, NC (Onsite for the first 6 months - Hybrid thereafter based on performance metrics) Candidates must live within one hour driving distance of Cary NC
- DURATION: 6 months temp to hire
- TRAINING SCHEDULE: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–6:00 PM EST
- AFTER TRAINING SHIFT: Mix of 9:00 AM–6:00 PM EST and 11:00 AM–8:00 PM EST
We are hiring Clinical Pharmacists to join a team dedicated to simplifying access to specialty medications and delivering personalized patient care.
Job Qualifications:
- Active, unrestricted Pharmacist license in North Carolina (license must be in good standing)
- 3–5+ years of post-graduate pharmacy experience in clinical practice, patient care, or pharmacy operations
- 2–3+ years of direct patient counseling experience
- Graduate of an accredited School of Pharmacy
- BCOP certified or willing to obtain certification when eligible
- Excellent communication and computer skills
- Ability to obtain additional state licenses as needed
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive medication and pharmacotherapy reviews
- Counsel patients on specialty medications and treatment plans
- Monitor drug interactions, adherence, side effects, and clinical outcomes
- Verify prescriptions and ensure compliance with all state and federal pharmacy regulations
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, caregivers, and patient support teams
- Supervise pharmacy technicians and support quality assurance initiatives
- Participate in REMS programs and adverse event reporting
- Deliver exceptional patient-centered care throughout the treatment journey
