This opportunity is seeking a licensed hospital pharmacist to support a small, approximately 80-bed healthcare facility. The ideal candidate will possess a New Mexico pharmacist license and demonstrate expertise in clinical pharmacy practice, ensuring safe and effective medication use within the hospital setting.
Responsibilities:
- Review and verify medication orders for hospitalized patients
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize pharmacotherapy outcomes
- Monitor patient responses to medications and adjust therapy as needed
- Maintain compliance with pharmacy laws and hospital policies
- Provide drug information and education to healthcare staff and patients
- Assist with inventory management and medication procurement
Qualifications:
- Current New Mexico pharmacist license required
