Clinical Nurse – Rapid Response/Code Team – Night Shift

Role:

The Rapid Response/Code Team Clinical Nurse provides hospital-wide emergency response and acts as a clinical resource to staff, offering guidance and education on procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Responds to emergency codes such as Code Blue, White, and trauma events.
• Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates patient care in accordance with nursing standards.
• Educates patients and families on managing illnesses, post-treatment care, and medication administration.
• Promotes patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.
• Develops individualized care plans and communicates effectively across care teams.
• Uses critical nursing skills to evaluate physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient preferences and cultural considerations.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Minimum 2 years of Critical Care or Emergency Department experience.
• ACLS certification required.
• Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Nursing and 2+ years of experience.
• Safety-sensitive role requiring alertness and safe work practices.
