Clinical Nurse – Orthopedic Surgery, Part Time Evenings

Role Overview:

This position involves providing direct patient care in a specialized inpatient unit focused on Orthopedic, Spine, Urological, and Plastic Surgery patients.

Responsibilities:

• Assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care within standards of nursing practice.
• Promote patient and family-centered care, educating on illness management, home care, and medication use.
• Develop and document personalized care plans, ensuring effective communication across care teams.
• Evaluate physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, considering patient preferences and barriers.
• Participate in activities that support patient safety, quality improvement, and professional growth.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Minimum of 1 year RN experience; 2 years preferred.
• Ability to work in a safety-sensitive environment with alertness and adherence to safety protocols.
• Strong assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills.
