Clinical Nurse Oncology Solid Tumors

Role Overview:

Provides direct patient care in a 32-bed oncology unit, serving patients with moderate to high acuity, including those undergoing Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) and oncology treatments.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.
• Educate patients and families on illness management, post-treatment care, and medication administration.
• Promote patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance while participating in professional development activities.
• Develop and communicate comprehensive care plans, considering physical, psychosocial, emotional, cultural, and spiritual needs.
• Maintain a safe environment, following safety-sensitive protocols at all times.

Qualifications And Skills

• Minimum education: Nursing Diploma/Associate's Degree; BSN preferred.
• Licensure: Valid RN license.
• Experience: No prior experience required; less than 2 years preferred.
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.
• Commitment to patient-centered care and safety.
