The Clinical Coordinator (CC)/Clinical Nurse Manager (CNM) at Healogics is responsible for coordinating clinical activities of the Wound Care Center, including patient assessment, care planning, and quality improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Manage case management activities, including patient assessments and documentation per protocols.
- Provide clinical oversight to RNs, LPNs, LVNs, CMAs, and Hyperbaric Oxygen Technicians.
- Collaborate with Program Director, Medical Director, and other healthcare providers to meet program objectives and improve patient outcomes.
- Identify process improvements and ensure compliance with HIPAA, DOH, CMS, and Healogics policies.
- Lead staff development, offering in‑service training, orientation, and recognition.
- Assist in budgeting and financial coordination of program operations.
- Coordinate Vein Care services when available, following Healogics Vein Clinic training.
- Achieve Wound Care Center quality indicators in collaboration with leadership.
- Act as a Documentation Assistant or scribe as required by policy.
- Perform hyperbaric safety director duties after training, including chamber operation.
- Provide patient care based on staffing needs and perform additional duties as necessary.
Qualifications
- Current RN (Registered Nurse) license; must be maintained throughout employment.
- Associate’s Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Minimum one year of RN experience; two or more years preferred.
- Prior supervisory experience preferred.
- Wound care certification preferred.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) required.
- Strong planning, organization, prioritization, and time‑management skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, oral, written, and presentation communication skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment and explain concepts to non‑clinical audiences.
- Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
- Strong customer service, follow‑up, analytical, quantitative, and problem‑solving skills.
- Leadership, team‑building, motivational, research, and teaching skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and hospital/web‑based databases.
Physical Demands
- Stationary position for extended periods (>= 4 hours).
- Extended computer use (screen viewing, keying) for 4 hours or more.
- Movements: walking, bending/stooping, reaching/grasping, pushing/pulling.
- Lifting or moving up to 20 pounds alone; up to 75 pounds with assistance.
- Travel by car, airplane, or other means as required.
Work Environment
Primarily indoor office and patient care settings with normal office environment, exposure to blood‑borne pathogens and other hazards, and close proximity to mechanical equipment.
Salary
$78,900.00 – $106,300.00 annually (range based on qualifications, experience, and geography).
