Responsibilities include:

1. Implementing physician orders, administering medications, starting IVs, performing treatments, procedures, and special tests, and documenting treatment as required by policy and regulations.
2. Ordering, interpreting, and evaluating diagnostic tests to assess patients' conditions.
3. Assessing and evaluating patient needs and responses to care.
4. Applying sound nursing judgment in patient care management decisions.
5. Providing primary and emergency care for injuries and illnesses.
6. Administering over-the-counter and prescription medications as ordered.
7. Collaborating with the nursing team to create a Plan of Care.
8. Directing and guiding ancillary personnel while maintaining professional standards.
