Responsibilities
- Implement physician orders, administer medications, start IVs, perform treatments, procedures, and special tests, and document treatments as required by policy and regulations.
- Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests to assess patient conditions.
- Assess and evaluate patient needs and responses to care.
- Apply sound nursing judgment in patient care management.
- Provide primary and emergency care for injuries and illnesses.
- Administer over-the-counter and prescription medications as ordered.
- Collaborate with the nursing team to create a Plan of Care for all patients.
- Guide and supervise ancillary personnel while maintaining professional nursing standards.
