Role Overview:
The GI Motility RN provides specialized care for adult patients with gastrointestinal motility disorders, supporting a multidisciplinary team in a collaborative environment.
Responsibilities include:
- Developing and implementing individualized care plans in coordination with providers and patients.
- Educating patients and families on managing their conditions, post-treatment care, and medication administration.
- Promoting patient safety, quality care, and regulatory compliance.
- Assessing physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient values and cultural considerations.
- Participating in professional development and ensuring effective communication across care teams.
Qualifications and Skills:
- RN license with a Nursing Diploma/Associate’s degree (Bachelor’s preferred).
- Experience in GI, Endoscopy, ICU, OR, or Critical Care is preferred.
- Strong assessment, critical thinking, and patient education skills.
- Ability to work safely and alertly in a fast-paced environment.
