Clinical Nurse - Float Pool

Role Overview

Our Float Pool nurses provide exceptional, patient-centered care across various specialized units, including ICUs and ER.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care within established standards.
• Educate patients and families on managing illnesses, post-treatment care, and medication administration.
• Participate in promoting safety, quality, and regulatory compliance, and engage in ongoing professional development.
• Develop and document individualized care plans collaboratively with the healthcare team, ensuring effective communication.
• Use critical nursing skills to assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient preferences and barriers.

Qualifications & Skills

• RN license required; Nursing Diploma or Associate's degree in nursing.
• Preferred: Bachelor's degree in nursing and two years of acute care experience.
• Ability to work safely and maintain alertness; experience in diverse clinical settings is advantageous.
