- Provide direct nursing care to BMT and oncology PCU patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care plans
- Administer chemotherapy, transfusions, and specialized treatments following evidence-based protocols and safety standards
- Monitor patients for treatment response, complications, and adverse events, escalating changes in condition promptly
- Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment plans, symptom management, and post-discharge care
- Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, pharmacists, and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record and comply with regulatory and hospital policies
- Follow infection prevention, central line, and bone marrow transplant safety standards to reduce risk and improve outcomes
- Precept, mentor, and support nursing peers and new staff, contributing to a culture of continuous learning and excellence
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, evidence-based practice projects, and unit-based committees
