Responsibilities
- The Clinical Navigator RN demonstrates critical thinking, initiative and expertise in oncology.
- He/she will provide care coordination throughout the cancer continuum.
- In addition, the Clinical Navigator RN is responsible to coordinate and provide survivorship information for ongoing health and wellness according to the Commission on Cancer (CoC) standard requirements.
Qualifications
Job Requirements:
- Associate's Degree in Nursing.
- 2+ years' experience as an Oncology Registered Nurse.
- Current valid NJ State Professional Registered Nurse License.
- Fluency in the English language to function in job environment appropriately.
- Demonstrate knowledge of clinical guidelines (e.g. NCCN, AJCC, CoC) and specialty resources throughout the disease process.
Preferred Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
- Oncology Certified Nurse. Must be willing to obtain within 1 year of employment.
- Demonstrate knowledge of current computer systems, equipment or programs used in the organization, knowledge of Epic.
- Bilingual.
