OhioHealth is seeking a Clinical Lead for our Cardiovascular Intermediate unit. In this role, you'll provide direct patient care while serving as a clinical resource and leader for the bedside team. Responsibilities include coordinating daily workflows, overseeing patient assignments, supporting evidence-based practice, mentoring staff, and collaborating with physicians and allied health professionals to ensure safe, high-quality cardiovascular care. Responsibilities
- Provide direct cardiovascular intermediate-level patient care using evidence-based practices
- Coordinate daily unit workflow and patient assignments to ensure safe staffing and throughput
- Serve as a clinical resource and role model for nurses and support staff
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams on care plans and transitions of care
- Monitor quality, patient safety, and patient experience metrics and support improvement efforts
- Mentor, coach, and support onboarding of new nurses and staff
- Ensure accurate, timely EHR documentation and adherence to regulatory standards
- Support implementation of new protocols, technologies, and best practices
- Participate in unit-based councils, education, and performance improvement initiatives
