Laboratory Analyst
Performs laboratory analysis on clinical specimens using established laboratory procedures; reviews and evaluates quality controls, specimen integrity and instrumentation to ensure that accurate results are reported.
Night Shift, Friday - Sunday, 3 x 12s, 1800 - 0630. No Call. Need at around 1 year experience at least.
Education and Qualifications: BS or BA in Medical Technology related sciences required. Two years experience in all aspects of the clinical laboratory. Currently licensed as a Clinical Laboratory Scientist by the State of California.
Able to answer phones professionally. Able to assist co-workers when needed. Able to handle stressful work situations. Able to organize and maintain good follow-up; able to multi-task. Able to relate well with people using good communication and diplomatic skills. Able to take on new responsibilities when requested. Able to understand both oral and written instructions in English. Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
