Clinical Instructor, Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery

The University of Rochester Eastman Institute for Oral Health in Rochester, New York, is seeking outstanding part-time Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons at the rank of Clinical Instructor. This role involves didactic and clinical teaching within the Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery program. The position also includes participation in ongoing clinical and translational research, as well as other collaborative activities within the UR EIOH, URMC, and the Rochester community.

• The OMFS Department provides full scope specialty services to all portions of New York State and extends into the north Pennsylvania region.

Responsibilities

• Didactic and clinical teaching in the Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery program
• Participating in ongoing clinical and translational research programs
• Participating in other collaborative activities within the UR EIOH, the University of Rochester Medical Center (URMC), and the Rochester community

Compensation

• Compensation: $12,000 - $24,000
• The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum annual salary for this faculty position.
• Individual salaries will be determined within the job's salary range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations.
• Incentive-based compensation may also be applicable and will be discussed during the hiring process.

Qualifications

• DDS/DMD
• Completion of an Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery Residency Program
• OMFS board eligibility
• Eligibility for a NYS dental license as established by New York State law
• Post-offer health assessment is required
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)
