The Clinical Director will serve as the senior clinical leader at a brand new inpatient dual-diagnosis treatment center, overseeing all aspects of clinical programming, compliance, and staff development. This individual will ensure the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based treatment to clients with co-occurring substance use and mental health disorders.

About the Role

The Clinical Director will oversee all aspects of clinical programming, compliance, and staff development.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and oversee clinical programming consistent with best practices in behavioral health and substance use treatment.
  • Provide clinical supervision and guidance to therapists, case managers, and other clinical team members.
  • Ensure compliance with state regulations, Joint Commission standards, and organizational policies.
  • Conduct regular audits of clinical documentation for accuracy and compliance.
  • Collaborate with the Executive Director and Medical Director to ensure seamless coordination between clinical, medical, and operational departments.
  • Participate in hiring, onboarding, and ongoing professional development of clinical staff.
  • Lead treatment team meetings, case reviews, and staff training.
  • Oversee utilization review and ensure clinical justifications for medical necessity.
  • Maintain a small caseload as needed to support program operations.
  • Foster a culture of ethical practice, compassion, and client-centered care.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related field.
  • Active licensure in Oklahoma as LCSW, LMHC, or LPC (required).
  • Minimum of 3 years of clinical supervision experience in a behavioral health setting.
  • Experience working with both substance use and mental health populations (preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of state regulations, documentation standards, and evidence-based treatment models.
  • Proven leadership, communication, and team-building skills.
