Clinical Director

The Department of Veterans Affairs Houston Healthcare System is seeking a full-time Clinical Director to join their team in Tomball, TX. The Clinical Director will oversee the community-based clinic, balancing 40% clinical and 60% administrative responsibilities while facilitating comprehensive primary, acute, and chronic health care to veterans. This role offers the opportunity to provide direct patient care, engage in multidisciplinary collaboration, and educate the next generation of medical and advanced practice providers. Shift & Schedule

• Monday - Friday 8:00-4:30pm

Responsibilities

• Oversee the community-based clinic and perform 40% clinical and 60% administrative duties
• Facilitate the delivery of primary, acute, and chronic health care to our veterans
• Exercise medical decision-making and provide a broad range of diagnostic and therapeutic services
• Participate in direct patient care, patient and family teaching, staff education, and multidisciplinary consultations and collaborations
• Participate in educating PA and NP students, residents, medical students, and interns
• Supervise mid-level practitioners
• Exhibit leadership in initiating changes in patient care programs based on current concepts and findings from research and/or studies

Compensation

• $260,000 - $280,000

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. Citizen (*If no qualified U.S. Citizen is found, will consider non-citizen candidates*)
• Full and unrestricted license from any U.S. State
• Board Certified/Board Eligible (Preferred)
• Possess a focus on quality rather than volume
• Must be highly motivated, team-oriented, and committed to the care and good health of our Veterans
