JOB SUMMARY: Provides appropriate patient nutritional care. Assesses the nutritional status of patients, formulates a care plan, coordinates its implementation, and evaluates its impact and effectiveness. Provides nutrition education to patients/families. Approves supplements as appropriate and assists in the development of a hospital formulary appropriate to the patient population. PRN only.
nEDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING
n1. Registered Dietitian required (CMS requirement).
n2. Current Texas licensure required.
n3. One year healthcare experience desirable.
