Description / Responsibilities
- Focus on integrating clinical devices with EHR systems.
- Responsible for the ongoing support, troubleshooting, and maintenance of integrated clinical devices being supported by the Masimo interface.
- Lead in collaboration between internal teams including interfaces, EHR application teams, Clinical engineering and Infrastructure teams, as well as external vendors and partners.
- The lead on integration projects, adhering to the IT System Lifecycle methodology, producing functional and/or technical specifications, conducting meetings, completing system upgrades and coordinating volume testing, leading and adhering to the BILH IT system change management processes.
- Work with the user community to develop functional business requirements that adhere to the standard IT project methodology.
- The lead in resolving cross-functional issues that are escalated throughout the development, testing, implementation, and support of the lifecycle.
- Supports assigned production environments, troubleshoots technical application issues, documents incoming requests whether handled internally in IS or with a vendor. Delivers high quality support during the implementation of new devices.
- Provides Clinical device related guidance to other team members.
- Maintains/Writes documentation and procedures for managing integrated clinical devices with the EHR.
- Provide updates on status and progress of support tasks and projects.
