Clinical Development Senior Medical Director, Breast Oncology

Job Summary

Clinical Development Senior Medical Director (atirmociclib) — individual contributor supporting clinical trial(s) and leading clinical development subteams.

Responsibilities

• Conduct medical monitoring (eligibility assessment, data review, safety monitoring).
• Lead peer-to-peer interactions with investigators.
• Serve as point of contact for clinical issues among study team, investigators, ethics/steering committees, and regulatory authorities.
• Lead/contribute to development and maintenance of clinical trial and regulatory documents with Clinical Scientists and cross-functional teams.
• Provide clinical development leadership across several study teams.
• Serve as Clinical Development Lead on subteams, including for Marketing Authorization Applications.

Strategic Guidance, Clinical Insights & Interpretation

• Collaborate with Global Development Team to create/refine development strategies.
• Represent company in external engagements/joint collaborations.
• Review/interpret clinical data with Clinical Scientists; communicate key findings/implications to internal/external stakeholders.
• Stay current with literature and guidelines to advise and drive clinical development plans.

Qualifications

• MD/DO/MBBS/MBChB from a recognized school/university; 4+ years biopharma industry experience in clinical research/development.
• Licensed to prescribe medicines independently for at least 2 years post-intern/house officer/foundation period.

Preferred Qualifications

• Board certified/eligible in oncology.
• Breast Oncology experience (2+ years).
• Late phase clinical development experience.

Additional

• Travel to scientific conferences/meetings several times per year.
• Relocation support available.
• Hybrid: live within commuting distance; on-site ~2.5 days/week.

Compensation/Benefits (if applicable)

• Base salary: $274,500.00–$457,500.00; bonus target 25% of base; equity/long-term incentive eligibility; comprehensive benefits including 401(k) with match, paid leave, and medical/dental/vision coverage.
