Clinical Data Specialist (OBGYN - Pregnancy & Perinatal Center)This position supports clinical operations, clinical research teams, external sites, and alliance partners to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and complete data collection from clinical study sites. This role supports clinical data management activities across the study lifecycle, emphasizing data accuracy, process adherence, and cross functional collaboration.Job ResponsibilitiesEnsure accurate, efficient, and complete data collection from clinical study sites. Writing, reviewing and maintaining electronic case report completion guidelines, data management plan, data validation plan, and other data management related documentationPerform all aspects of clinical data management process as related to processing and quality control of the data.

Clean data for study close out and perform all database lock procedures. Conduct data quality review and validation activities, including basic descriptive analyses using programming languages such as SAS or Python, as appropriateMonitor study status and provide status reports to the teamWrite and review data management SOPs in accordance with guidelinesDevelops associated training and competency testing. Represent the data management function on project teamsOther duties as assignedQualificationsBachelor of Science and 3 to 5 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.Experience in database cleaning, management, developmentFamiliarity with electronic health record systems, including EPICDescriptive programming skills to support data quality review and validationCompetency in programming languages such as R or PythonJob Location - City, StatePhiladelphia, PennsylvaniaDepartment / SchoolPerelman School of MedicinePay Range$63,085.00 - $74,434.00 Annual RateSalary offers are made based on the candidate's qualifications, experience, skills, and education as they directly relate to the requirements of the position, and in alignment with salary ranges based on external market data for the job's level.
