Supporting the legal team in contract negotiations, the full-time Associate Director Clinical Contracts will manage clinical trial agreements, confidentiality agreements, and other legal documents, working remotely or in a hybrid capacity from San Diego, California. Key responsibilities Draft, analyze, and review various legal documents related to clinical operations, including clinical trial agreements and confidentiality agreements Identify and escalate risks, providing recommendations to facilitate informed decision-making and support contract negotiations Interface with internal and external stakeholders to resolve issues and proactively implement improved processes for the legal team Required qualifications BA/BS or MS from an accredited U.S. college 5-8 years of relevant industry experience, including at least 4 years in contract negotiation and drafting Experience negotiating and drafting international contracts Prior in-house experience within a legal or clinical operations department in a biotechnology or pharmaceuticals company Strong drafting skills and practical experience with Excel and PowerPoint
