Clinical Care Advisor IDD (Program Consultant)
Location: State of North Carolina
Field: This field-based role enables associates to primarily operate in the field, traveling to client sites or designated locations as their role requires, with occasional office attendance for meetings or training. This approach ensures flexibility, responsiveness to client needs, and direct, hands‑on engagement. Alternate locations may be considered if candidates reside within a commuting distance from an office.

The Clinical Care Advisor IDD (Program Consultant) is responsible for the development and ongoing management of one or more external client‑facing programs within a business unit. Program consultants typically support business strategies through an integrated portfolio of external client‑facing projects or initiatives.
How you will make an impact
- In collaboration under the supervision of the Manager II this candidate will manage the ongoing compliance; daily operations with external client‑facing programs; helps ensure program meets its stated objectives; provides support to a team of advisors in day to day operations.
- Researches applicable subject matter practices and remains aware of industry trends.
- Coordinates training related to the external client‑facing program; supports program success measures and assist with data collection relating to program success.
Minimum Requirements
- Requires a BA/BS in a related field and minimum of 3 years experience in external client‑facing program management; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
Preferred Skills, Capabilities and Experiences
- Candidate should reside in North Carolina is preferred.
- Preference to have an active RN, LCSW, LMHC, LPC or LMFT licensure for the state of North Carolina is highly preferred.
- For the Behavioral Health organization, lived experiences with behavioral health programs is strongly preferred.
- Strong preference for candidates experienced with North Carolina 1915 programs is greatly preferred.
- Experienced working and supporting individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (I/DD) is highly preferred.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite, with a specific focus on Excel, are strongly preferred.
- Exceptional organizational skills are preferred.
