Position Details

The Division of Community Radiology of the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine has an immediate opening for a Neuroradiologist and Body/Diagnostic Radiologist for 72 weekend days per year. The schedule can be alternating weeks or a block schedule, specifically covering Saturday–Sunday daytime schedule 7:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m. for ED and inpatient studies. The role is ideal for radiologists seeking flexibility, supplemental income, or a reduced weekday commitment. The fully remote position offers a competitive compensation package and additional moonlighting opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Subspecialized including thoracic, abdominal, and pelvic imaging.
• Collegial mix of experienced and recently trained body imagers.
• No overnight shifts.
• No research or teaching responsibilities.
• No neuro, mammography, IR, PET, pediatrics, or outpatient MSK studies.
• Complete all required medical records accurately, thoroughly, and in a timely manner, including imaging interpretation reports, patient encounter notes, billing forms and coding documentation, and any additional reports or documentation required by JHU policies or applicable laws.
• Ensure documentation supports the services billed and meets institutional and regulatory standards.
• Participate cooperatively in internal peer review, quality improvement initiatives, and performance evaluations as required.

Performed at Sibley Memorial Hospital and Suburban Hospital.

Qualifications

• Board Certified with Maryland and DCA Licensure.
