Clinical Application Analyst IThe Clinical Application Analyst I acts as a liaison between clinical end users and implementation teams to ensure the successful adoption and optimization of EMR systems and related healthcare applications. This role focuses on training; workflow enhancement; and technical support to improve efficiency and quality of care delivery. The position involves data collection; workflow analysis; system configuration; testing; and support.
Additionally; the analyst participates in application deployment and procedure documentation; ensuring that software builds meet organizational goals and external mandates such as HIPAA and Meaningful Use.Job RequirementsMinimum EducationHigh SchoolMinimum Work Experience1-3 years in a healthcare settingRequired Skills; Knowledge; and AbilitiesAbility to present educational information to individual and/or small groups in a professional manner.Knowledge of EMR software applicationsKnowledge of Windows system level operationPrior experience in product development for healthcare strongly preferredDocument and maintain software functionalityStrong background in Microsoft Excel; Word and OutlookStrong analytical and problem solving skillsSelf-motivated with the ability to prioritize; meet deadlines; and manage changing prioritiesProven ability to be flexible and work hard; both independently and in a team environment; in a high pressure on-call environment with changing prioritiesWillingness to work occasionally outside of normal business hoursExcellent English oral and written communication skills
