Clinical Administrative CoordinatorRichmond, VA 23226OverviewPosition Type Full Time Category NursingDescriptionHealix Infusion Therapy is seeking a Full Time Clinical Administrative Coordinator at one of our Infectious Disease Office Infusion Centers located in Richmond, VA!Clinical Administrative Coordinator performs a variety of duties to aide in the efficient workflow and operations of the POIC.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.Maintains pumps, including inventory, quality control checks, tracking and related documentation.Ensures sterile products compounding area is cleaned and maintained according to policy and procedure and USP<797> standards.Prepares medications utilizing appropriate aseptic technique. Performs medication preparation accurately, without errors and minimal waste. Maintains accurate records of all preparations.Coordinates with central pharmacy for dispensed medications to be delivered on time; checks medication in prior to dispensing to patientsHas work checked by a RN, as neededMaintains all QC activities and documentation for the preparation areasAssists in maintaining a clean and neat medication room and infusion center.Participates in departmental quality control and quality assurance programs.CORE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Include the following basic performance factors all Healix, Inc. employees are expected to meet.Communicates with clients and fellow employees through written and verbal forms, clearly and timelyInteracts professionally with clients and fellow employeesCooperates with team members to accomplish departmental goalsAccepts and incorporates changes or new ideas into daily workProvides service in a responsive, timely and accurate manner to both clients and fellow employeesUnderstands and adheres to policies and proceduresArrives at work as scheduled and notifies supervisors in a timely manner of any absencesRecognizes priorities and takes action; makes productive use of timeStrives to resolve problems and conflicts on his/her own initiativeAttempts to create new ideas or new procedures working as part of a group or individually.As a part of your job, you will receive protected health information.
