Clinical / Academic Hematologist–Oncologist
A prominent academic medical center in a New York City borough is seeking a fellowship-trained Hematologist/Oncologist to join its rapidly expanding Division of Hematology/Oncology. This permanent position offers an outstanding opportunity to combine high-level clinical practice with clinical and translational research within a nationally recognized, NCI-designated Cancer Center. An academic appointment is available, with rank commensurate with experience.

Responsibilities
- Perform high-level clinical practice
- Conduct clinical and translational research
- Manage broad malignant hematology and solid tumor exposure
- Actively participate in interdisciplinary conferences and tumor boards
- Teach and mentor fellows, residents, and medical students
Compensation
- Competitive base salary up to $450,000

Shift & Schedule
- Hybrid schedule:
- 3 days inpatient
- 2 days outpatient
- Opportunity to increase outpatient clinical time as volume and program expansion continue
Requirements
- MD or DO
- Completion of an ACGME-accredited Hematology/Medical Oncology fellowship
- Board Eligible (true BE) or Board Certified in Hematology and Medical Oncology
- Board certification preferred
- Demonstrated interest in academic medicine, research, and teaching
