Clinical / Academic Hematologist–Oncologist

A prominent academic medical center in a New York City borough is seeking a fellowship-trained Hematologist/Oncologist to join its rapidly expanding Division of Hematology/Oncology. This permanent position offers an outstanding opportunity to combine high-level clinical practice with clinical and translational research within a nationally recognized, NCI-designated Cancer Center. An academic appointment is available, with rank commensurate with experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-level clinical practice
• Conduct clinical and translational research
• Manage broad malignant hematology and solid tumor exposure
• Actively participate in interdisciplinary conferences and tumor boards
• Teach and mentor fellows, residents, and medical students

Compensation

• Competitive base salary up to $450,000

Shift & Schedule

• Hybrid schedule:
• 3 days inpatient
• 2 days outpatient
• Opportunity to increase outpatient clinical time as volume and program expansion continue

Requirements

• MD or DO
• Completion of an ACGME-accredited Hematology/Medical Oncology fellowship
• Board Eligible (true BE) or Board Certified in Hematology and Medical Oncology
• Board certification preferred
• Demonstrated interest in academic medicine, research, and teaching
