Position Summary

Iowa Specialty Hospitals & Clinics is seeking a Clinic Educator to support staff development, onboarding, competencies, and educational initiatives across our 12 clinic locations. This position plays a key role in promoting high-quality patient care through staff education, regulatory readiness, emergency preparedness, and professional development.

Clinic Educator

Full-Time

Primary Responsibilities

• Coordinate new employee orientation and onboarding.


• Develop and manage annual competencies and skills validation.


• Provide ongoing staff education and training.


• Support quality improvement, patient safety, and documentation initiatives.


• Coordinate emergency preparedness training and mock drills.


• Assist with regulatory compliance and survey readiness.


• Serve as an educational resource for clinic staff and leaders.

Schedule

• Full-time


• Day shift, Monday–Friday


• No routine weekends, holidays, or nights


• Travel between clinic locations required

Qualifications

• Current Iowa RN license required


• Minimum 3 years of clinical nursing experience


• Strong communication, organization, and teaching skills
