OrthoIndy Clinic CoderThe Clinic Coder is responsible for reviewing medical record documentation, posting charges consisting of CPT codes, ICD-10 diagnosis codes, and appropriate modifiers.Essential duties include:Posts clinic charges.Reviews medical record documentation for accuracy to support billing.Informs manager of compliance problems or issues.Communicates with physician and staff when query needed on patient charges.Requirements:High School Diploma or GED required, specialty training beyond high school preferred1-2 years of related experience required, 2-4 years of experience preferredCertified Professional Coder certification or Certified Coding Specialist Physician-based certification requiredOrthoIndy is an Equal Opportunity Employer
