Duties
- Respond to client call assignments following a priority-based protocol.
- Complete client calls within two business days, documenting any delays.
- Prioritize urgent matters such as benefit stoppages and medical treatment delays.
- Counsel clients on disability payments and medical treatment authorizations.
- Prepare clients for medical evaluations, depositions, and hearings.
- Explain workers' compensation concepts in easy-to-understand language.
- Address client concerns promptly and de-escalate sensitive conversations.
- Document all client interactions and advice provided accurately.
- Escalate benefit disputes and case-related concerns timely.
- Collaborate with case managers and attorneys to ensure consistent information.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards.
Requirements
- Working knowledge of California workers' compensation system.
- Exceptional verbal communication skills with a professional phone presence.
- Strong active listening skills and ability to convey complex information clearly.
- Empathetic and patient demeanor in difficult conversations.

- Ability to manage a steady volume of calls while maintaining quality.

Education
Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school.
Certifications
Active member in good standing of the State Bar of California.
