Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the onboarding process for new institutional investment clients, including account setup, required documentation, and account establishment.
  • Partner with Fidelity, the organization's primary custodian, and other financial institutions to facilitate account openings and onboarding activities.
  • Serve as a point of contact for day-to-day client service needs, responding to inquiries and assisting with account maintenance and reporting.
  • Support client money movements, account transactions, and other routine investment operations.
  • Collaborate closely with internal Client Services and Operations teams to ensure accurate and timely execution of client requests.
  • Maintain organized client records and ensure onboarding documentation and account information are complete and accurate.
  • Identify opportunities to improve the client experience and contribute to efficient team processes.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field preferred; equivalent relevant experience will also be considered.
  • Some experience within financial services, wealth management, investment operations, or a client-facing financial institution preferred.
  • Previous client onboarding or new account setup experience is highly desirable.
  • General understanding of investment products, such as mutual funds, separately managed accounts (SMAs), and target-date funds.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities.
  • Self-starter with the initiative to take ownership of responsibilities and work independently within a collaborative team environment.
  • Comfortable working in a hands-on, service-oriented role within a smaller team.

Additional Experience That Is a Plus:

  • Series 7 and/or Series 66 licenses (not required; opportunity for licensing may be available).
  • Experience with Fidelity Wealthscape or other investment custody platforms.

Why Consider This Opportunity?

  • Join a respected, established organization with a meaningful mission and a strong institutional presence.
  • Gain exposure to institutional investment clients and the operations of a sophisticated investment services environment.
  • Develop valuable experience in client onboarding, investment account administration, and relationship management.
  • Work alongside an experienced, collaborative team in an environment where individual contributions make an impact.
  • Build a long-term career within client services and investment operations.
