- Utilize event management software and CRM systems to track client interactions, manage schedules, and ensure timely follow-up
- Oversee the execution of events from conception through completion, ensuring adherence to budgets, timelines, and quality standards
- Upsell additional services such as premium catering packages or enhanced event features to maximize client satisfaction and revenue opportunities
- Coordinate with hospitality vendors, including catering teams and banquet staff, to deliver exceptional guest services
- Develop marketing strategies for events to boost attendance and engagement through targeted outreach and promotional activities
- Lead project teams during event setup, execution, and breakdown while maintaining clear communication with all stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and industry best practices throughout all phases of event management
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in hospitality or events management, with a strong understanding of the hospitality industry standards
- Excellent negotiation skills coupled with the ability to upsell services effectively
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with event management software and CRM systems
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines
- Exceptional communication skills for client interaction, team leadership, and vendor negotiations
- Experience managing event budgets and handling contracts related to catering, venue rentals, or banquet services
- Knowledge of marketing principles related to event promotion and attendee engagement
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams during large-scale events while maintaining high levels of customer service excellence
