Client/ServerNetworkArchitect–Senior

Top- Level technical expert responsible for design and development ofaclient/serverenvironment. Develops strategy ofclient/server system and the design infrastructure necessary to support that strategy. Advises on selection of technological purchases with regards to processing, data storage, data access, and applications development.Sets standards for theclient/server relational database structure for the organization (SQL, ORACLE, SYBASE, etc.).Advises of feasibility of potential future projects to management.

Performance shall include:

• Providingtechnicalexpertiseandassistwithnetworkintegrationandconsolidationeffortsacrossmultiplenetworkenvironments

• Addressingandresolvingcomplextechnicalproblemsrelatingtoinstallationandupgradeofnetworkhardwareandsystems

• Interfacingwithcustomers,vendorsandothertechnicalstafftoanalyzebusinessandtechnicalrequirements

• Documentingengineeringstandards,leadsinthedevelopmentofnetworkarchitectureandengineeringdesignsandchanges

• Evaluatingcurrentandemergingnetworktechnologies,conductstechnicalassessmentsandmakingrecommendationto theChief Engineer

• Performnetworkmodeling,analysis,andplanning

Experience:

• 7-9yearsrelatedexperience

Education:

• Bachelor’sdegreeinarealtareaORAssociate’sdegreeinarealtarea+2years’experienceORequivalenteexperience(4years)

Certifications:

• MustmeetpositionandcertificationrequirementsoutlinedinDoDDirective -MforInformationAssuranceTechnicianLevel2within6monthsofthedateofhire

Security Clearance:

• TS/SCI

EligibilityforaccesstoSpecialAccessProgramInformation

• WillingnostosubmittoaCounterintelligencepolygraph
