Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Client Reimbursement Intake Specialist will educate providers and members on health plan benefits, assist with member navigation and confirmation of benefits, and ensure necessary healthcare services are secured for clients. Key responsibilities Initiate outreach to primary providers to explain plan benefits and resolve cases before escalation Research and confirm member benefits and responsibilities, and assist in identifying alternative provider options when necessary Document all communications and efforts to ensure smooth handoff of cases to Client Reimbursement Advocates Required qualifications Bachelor's Degree 1+ years of experience in healthcare, health insurance, or customer service Experience with negotiations Familiarity with billing, insurance, healthcare, or legal environments is a plus Knowledge of CMS1500 and UB04 Medical Claim Forms and medical coding is desired
