This role is designed for a senior sales leader who doesn’t just manage relationships, but fully owns the account—driving revenue growth, deepening executive partnerships, and expanding Impetus’ footprint across the client organization.
Role Overview
As a Sales Director, you will be responsible for end‑to‑end ownership of the account—account strategy, revenue growth, executive engagement, and delivery alignment. You will collaborate closely with pre‑sales, delivery, partner ecosystems, and internal leadership to advance complex, high‑value engagements across data, cloud, analytics, and AI‑led transformation initiatives.
What You’ll Bring
- Relationship Builder: A trusted advisor who excels at building deep, executive‑level relationships and converting them into long‑term, high‑value partnerships.
- BFSI Domain Expertise: Strong understanding of the banking and financial services landscape, with hands‑on experience selling cloud, data, analytics, and digital transformation solutions to large enterprise banks.
- Hunt‑to‑Farm Mindset: Ability to balance disciplined account growth with proactive opportunity identification—anchored in value‑based, consultative selling.
- Client Proximity & Presence: Willingness to be geographically close to stakeholders, engage on‑site as required, and maintain strong executive visibility.
- Partnership‑Driven Approach: A belief in shared success—aligning customer outcomes directly with Impetus’ growth and long‑term account strategy.
Strategic Account Leadership
- Partner with the VP of Account Management to develop and execute a multi‑year strategic account plan.
- Drive a minimum of 20% YoY revenue growth while meeting or exceeding revenue and gross margin targets.
- Serve as the primary point of contact and trusted advisor for stakeholders.
- Contribute to BFSI‑specific best practices that can be leveraged across other Impetus accounts.
Client Relationship Management
- Build and deepen executive‑level relationships across business, technology, and operations leadership.
- Strategically deploy internal teams to deliver impactful client engagement.
- Present Impetus’ differentiated capabilities and solutions to expand account penetration.
Solution Development & Delivery
- Support delivery teams to ensure successful execution and high customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with pre‑sales, solution architects, and delivery leaders to develop compelling proposals and long‑term engagement roadmaps.
Business Development
- Create, manage, and execute Account‑Based Marketing (ABM) strategies for organic growth.
- Leverage cloud and data partner ecosystems to uncover and develop new opportunities.
- Evangelize the full Impetus value story across the client organization.
- Represent client’s priorities internally within Impetus.
- Foster a collaborative, high‑performance culture across sales, delivery, and partner teams.
- Conduct quarterly business reviews with the client and Impetus leadership.
- Ensure timely follow‑up and resolution of Accounts Receivable matters.
