Duties and Responsibilities

  • Primary role is serving as project manager for client engagements. Emphasis on managing the flow of all projects for assigned clients to a successful completion.
  • Oversee, manage, prepare, analyze and provide advice to wealthy families on all aspects of personal financial planning including but not limited to:
    • Investments
    • Estate planning
    • Tax planning
    • Debt management
    • Insurance
  • Responsible for gathering all information for client financial matters.
  • Research investment ideas and wealth management strategies.
  • Assess financial decisions and situations, think creatively of logical plans to evaluate the client’s options, and put together quantitative and qualitative analysis.
  • Prepare financial reports and presentations for clients.
  • Coordinate and execute investment strategies.
  • Attend client meetings, provide input in meetings, talk to clients on the phone, and coordinate most of the work and communication with the client’s outside advisors (CPAs, attorneys, etc.).
  • Ensure all work products presented are timely, accurate, and well thought out.
  • Delegate tasks, manage analysts and senior analysts, and communicate the status of projects to them and the rest of the Client Advisory Team.
  • Mentor analysts and senior analysts by training, teaching, and developing their careers at the firm.
  • Continue to establish your business networks and build business development skills.

Minimum Position Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university with a major focus in accounting or finance.
  • 5 to 10 years of industry‑related work experience.
  • Completion of the CFP program or being in the process of completion, and IMCA, CPWA, CPA, CFA, or JD designation a plus.
  • Strong understanding of the wealth management process, asset allocation, and application to each client’s goals.
  • Experience with performance reporting and interpreting numbers.
  • Knowledge of estate planning and estate reduction strategies, and charitable planning strategies.
  • Ability to perform property and casualty assessment.
  • Understanding of evaluating life insurance and product options.
  • Strong skills in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word, with the ability to learn new systems and internet proficiency.
  • Strong financial and analytical skills and understanding of basic financial concepts.
  • Desire to learn and grow professionally in the personal wealth management business.
  • Consent to and a favorable consumer report and background check test.
