You will join a team that is:Very healthy, collaborative, and growth-focusedMotivated, forward-looking, and ready to take on new challengesCommitted to helping the right person grow and advance with the teamFocused on building real sign-industry expertise, not just filling a seatThis role creates a pathway into Apprentice Graphic Designer responsibilities, including exposure to:Enterprise-level graphic design standardsLarge-format print and sign-production workflowFile setup, proofing, revisions, and layout preparationBrand consistency and production-ready artworkReal-world sign-making processes from intake to installSchedule and benefitsMonday through FridayWeekends offMajor federal holidays offSick leaveTraining and developmentReal advancement opportunity for the right personCore responsibilitiesServe as the first point of contact for walk-in customers, inbound calls, emails, and follow-up communicationBuild strong client relationships and provide professional, responsive customer servicePrepare quotes, work orders, invoices, and order updatesSupport customer accounts and assist with accounts receivable follow-upCoordinate project details between customers, management, production, and installation teamsHandle sign permitting and insurance documentation for installation-related jobsTrack permit packets, approvals, certificates of insurance, and related compliance paperworkAssist with vendor coordination, outsourced items, delivery status, and job schedulingMaintain organized records for customer files, billing, permits, and project updatesLearn design handoff workflow, proofs, revisions, layout basics, and production-readiness standardsSupport the team with administrative, operational, and design-learning tasks as neededRequired qualifications2–3 years of experience in sign permitting and insurance processing for sign installations2–3 years of experience in customer service, account coordination, office administration, project coordination, or a related roleStrong communication skills, both written and verbalStrong attention to detail and follow-throughAbility to manage multiple jobs, priorities, and deadlines in a fast-paced environmentProfessional, dependable, and team-oriented mindsetStrong desire to learn, grow, and take on more responsibilityPreferred qualificationsExperience with QuickBooksExperience with CoreBridgeFamiliarity with Adobe Illustrator, CorelDRAW, Photoshop, or other graphics softwareExperience with job tracking, CRM, POS, or production workflow systemsExperience with Nassau County, Suffolk County, town, village, or landlord sign-approval processesUnderstanding of sign shop workflow, large-format printing, or fabrication environmentsWhat success looks like You communicate clearly.
