Cleared Systems AdministratorColossal Contracting, LLC is looking for cleared systems administrators to support a new team under our government customer in Albany, NY. This individual must have an active DOE Q clearance or an active DOD Top Secret clearance at a minimum. This individual will be a full-time employee whose primary responsibility will be providing system administrative coverage for equipment and software.Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesMust have an understanding of Windows Server 2012/2016/2019, Active Directory, and Group Policy Object Management.Provide back-end user support for various Information Technology related problems, including problems associated with Windows servers.Perform Windows system administration tasks.Install and configure server operating systems.Ability and experience in applying and maintaining patch levels and security configurations as well as providing life cycle system upgrades.Experience in hardening of systems through implementation of Cyber Security principles, policies and requirements.Experience is preferred with the administration, implementation and maintenance of Virtualization technologies.Strong oral and written communication skills with experience in writing standard operating procedures.Resolve escalated Help Desk issues.RequirementsExperience level must meet or exceed the following:At least 1 year of experience in supporting Microsoft Windows server computing environment, specifically Microsoft Active Directory and Group Policy Object managementKnowledge and working experience with Windows Server 2012/2016/2019 and future versions of the Windows Server Operating System.1 or more years of experience with server and desktop virtualization including VMWare (such as vSphere and ESXi 6.7) product lines.Experience in hardening of systems through implementation of Cyber Security principles, policies, and requirements.Experience with scripting technologies such as VB Script or PowerShell.Travel Travel would not be required for this opportunity.Position Type/Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time position working onsite with our customer during standard business hours.Job Type:Full-time employee of Colossal Contracting, long-term contract.Benefits OfferedCompetitive base salary ranging from $80-90kPaid time offEducation/Certification reimbursement100% Employer paid Health, Vision, Dental insurance for Employee401kColossal Contracting, LLC is a Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) who takes pride in supporting our CUSTOMERS and COUNTRY.
