The Work

• Creating intuitive, accessible, and high-performing digital experiences that support enterprise and mission-critical applications.
• Leading user research, design workflows, wireframes, prototypes, and design systems while collaborating closely with product owners, developers, and stakeholders in Agile environments.
• Providing technical mentorship, drives UX process improvements, promotes design standardization, and ensures compliance with accessibility and security requirements.

Here's What You Need

• Bachelors required
• 8 years experience creating wireframes, prototypes, user flows, and design systems.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating user-centered design and enterprise application experience.
• Proficiency with design tools such as Figma or similar platforms.
• Knowledge of Human-Centered Design (HCD), usability testing, and accessibility standards.
• Experience working within Agile development environments.
• Portfolio of work samples.

Bonus Points If You Have

• Master's degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Design, Psychology, or related field.
• Experience with the U.S. Web Design System (USWDS) or other enterprise design systems.
• Knowledge of Section 508, WCAG accessibility standards, and inclusive design principles.
• Experience supporting federal, defense, intelligence, or highly regulated environments.
• Familiarity with frontend technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Certifications in UX, accessibility, Human-Centered Design, or related disciplines.
• Experience utilizing AI throughout the design process and AI code-generation tools to rapidly prototype, build, and deploy production-ready designs.

Security Clearance

• Active Top Secret clearance.
• Must be SCI eligible and willing to sit for a polygraph.
