Responsible for disinfecting as directed throughout the District. Also, may have custodial and cleaning related duties to be performed at school buildings within District.
Major Responsibilities and Duties
1) Disinfect and possibly cleans offices, classrooms, corridors, lavatories, physical education area, locker rooms, shower rooms, swimming pool, computer labs, science and art rooms, and other similar spaces.
2) Sweeps, dust mops, wet mops, applies floor finishes, uses a variety of manual and automatic equipment including scrubbers, extractors, vacuums, and burnishes.
3) Maintains adequate supplies of paper towels, toilet tissue, soap and any other dispensed products in all areas where dispensers are provided.
4) Empties trash and garbage, sorts and empties recyclable.
5) Other duties as assigned.
Equipment Used:
Equipment as required by job duties, with knowledge of commercial or public building disinfecting and cleaning methods, procedures and equipment.
