Two full-time openings are available: one supporting Elementary grades K-2 in a temporary role (8:00 am-3:30 pm, through at least March), and one providing ongoing support in a Middle School setting, grades 6-8 (7:30 am-3:00 pm, permanent vacancy). These contract roles play a crucial part in both classroom assistance and life skills programming, directly impacting student growth and daily school life.
Desired Qualifications:

• Minimum of an associate's degree or at least 60 college credits required
• Previous experience working in educational settings, especially with elementary or middle school students, is preferred
• Ability to collaborate with instructional staff to create a positive, supportive classroom environment
• Strong communication skills and the flexibility to assist across various learning and behavioral needs
• Professional, reliable, and passionate about helping all students succeed

Key Responsibilities:

• Work closely with classroom teachers to implement lesson plans and support student success
• Provide individual or small group assistance in academics and life skills as directed by certified staff
• Help maintain an organized, inclusive, and safe classroom environment
• Support students in transitions, routines, and classroom activities as needed
• Assist in documentation and monitoring of student progress and behaviors
