Qualifications & Desirable Experience:

• Previous experience as a paraprofessional or in a related role assisting children or students preferred
• Demonstrated ability to work with diverse student populations, including those with special needs

• Patience, adaptability, and a caring, team-oriented attitude
• High school diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework or a related certification beneficial

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct academic and behavioral support to students, both one-on-one and in small groups
• Assist classroom teachers with lesson preparation, instructional activities, and facilitating classroom routines
• Support the individual needs and accommodations for students with developmental, learning, or physical challenges
• Help monitor student engagement, encourage participation, and maintain a positive learning environment
• Foster students' independence, social skills, and self-esteem through guided practice and consistent encouragement
• Maintain thorough records of student progress and report observations to the instructional team
