Key Qualifications:
- Experience as a paraprofessional or teacher's aide, preferably in an educational or special education setting
- Compassionate, patient, and reliable with a commitment to student well-being
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with school staff and families
- Comfortable with travel and flexible to adapt to varying daily routines
- Must meet background check requirements and any applicable state or district clearances
- Support a student during daily transportation between their home in Monessen and school in Greensburg
- Assist with the morning pickup at 7:30 AM, accompany the student to and from school, following all safety procedures
- Build rapport and create a positive, encouraging atmosphere on each ride
- Ensure the student's needs are met, monitoring for safety, and intervening appropriately when needed
- Document daily activities and report observations to appropriate school staff
- Commit to at least four hours per day, split between morning and afternoon travel schedules
- Build meaningful relationships as you support a student's access to their education
