As a Classified Systems Administrator, you will oversee server and endpoint infrastructure that supports some of the company's most critical missions. You will join a company that develops cutting edge solutions for our nation's most complex space enterprise and mission assurance challenges.The selected candidate will be required to work full-time on-site at our facility in El Segundo, CA.What You'll Be DoingPerform all aspects of system administration, including:Installing, configuring, and patching operating systems and applicationsManaging user accounts, permissions, and group policiesMaintaining and monitoring system performance and availabilityResponding to and resolving incidents, from Tier 1 user support through Tier 3 complex technical issuesAdminister and improve endpoint protection, backup, and disaster recovery capabilitiesDevelop PowerShell and Ansible scripts to automate administration and compliance tasksEvaluate and remediate security findings from Tenable (ACAS) and SCAP/STIG toolsMaintain compliance with RMF, NIST 800-53, and DISA STIG requirementsWhat You Need to be SuccessfulMinimum Requirements for the Classified Systems Administrator Staff III include:A minimum of (15) years experience with a High School diploma or equivalent OR (6) or more years of increasingly responsible and relevant professional experience with a Bachelor's degree OR a minimum of (4) or more years of increasingly responsible and relevant professional experience with a Master's degree is requiredDoD approved 8570/8140 baseline certification such as Security+ or equivalent are requiredProficiency with Windows Server/Active Directory & Windows DesktopWorking knowledge of RMF, NIST 800-53, and DISA STIGsDemonstrated ability to remediate vulnerabilities identified by ACAS and SCAP toolsA current and active Active TS/SCI with CI Poly security clearance, which is issued by the U.S.
government is required. U.S. citizenship is required to obtain a security clearanceIn addition to the above, the minimum requirements for Classified Systems Administrator Staff IV include:Experience with virtualization platforms (Hyper-V, VMWare VSphere)Hands-on containerization experience with tools such as Docker, Podman, and KubernetesExperience automating repetitive tasks with scripting or DevOps toolsHow You Can Stand OutIt would be impressive if you have one or more of these:Advanced degree/certifications is preferredExperience with virtualization platforms (Hyper-V, VMWare VSphere) is strongly desiredA current and active Special Access Program (SAP) experience and eligibility security clearance, which is issued by the U.S. government, is strongly preferred.
