Job Description
Job Title: District Certified Electrical Technician
Department: Maintenance
Reports To: Director of Operations
Pay Grade: $20 an hour plus benefits
Number of Days: 12 Months
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Must have and maintain a current Oklahoma Drivers' License
  • Must have and maintain a Oklahoma Certified Electrical License
  • Must have a high school degree or GED
The Board of Education and Superintendent may approve alternatives to some of the listed qualifications.
Responsibilities and Essential Functions:
  • The primary responsibility of the Electrical Technician is to install and repair electrical fixtures in the district. In addition, the Electrical Technician is responsible for trouble-shooting, installing fixtures/equipment, measuring, cutting and installing conduits in specified panels, testing continuity of circuits and repairing faulty systems, lifting and moving of supplies.
  • Any other duties assigned by the Director of Operations
