Job TitleWaste heat recovery equipment designed and built to ASME Code: waste heat and process gas boilers (firetube boilers, watertube boilers), steam drums, economizers, superheaters, Pressure VesselsWELD TEST(s)Welding: 6" Sch 80 6G GTAW Stringer / Hot Pass, SMAW Fill and Cap.3G FCAW 1/2" Plate testREQUIREMENTSExperience with Flux Core (FCAW), Stick (SMAW).Experience with Tig (GTAW) and / or Submerged arc Welding (SAW).Weld in all positions (Flat, Horizontal, Vertical, Overhead).Must be able to Pass X-rays and other Non-Destructive testing methods.Variety of ferrous and non-ferrous materials, Carbon, Stainless, Chrome and Nickel alloys.All work must meet ASME Code, Company and Client requirements.Perform other shop labor tasks as needed.Weld in many positions (overhead, flat, horizontal, vertical).Proficient using Carbon arc gouge and cutting torch.Read and understand drawings and welding procedures.Perform other shop labor tasks as needed.5 Plus years of experience in a manufacturing setting required.
